Discover more about the IMAX family

The Soft Ceiling concept enables you to create discreet but diverse lighting schemes using only one luminaire type. It allows architects and designers to work with different lighting applications, beams and output levels, using unobtrusive and glare-free fixtures for a zero-sightline ceiling. Thanks to precise engineering, the use of superior lenses and a multitude of accessories, Soft Ceiling fixtures guarantee optimal optic performance and maximum eye comfort. The vast range of options allow you to work with a Soft Ceiling luminaire throughout the entire project, meeting the different needs of each room, without unnecessary cluttering of the ceiling. iMax II symbolizes the maximum eye comfort / minimal appearance philosophy, an ideal lighting solution that fits the Soft Ceiling concept. Where the initial evolution in LED and optics focused on better output, smaller chips and longer lifetime, the second evolution is again shifting to user comfort with more precise optics and better light control. As the purpose of the iMax II family is to provide the best visual comfort to the user - thanks to its recessed LED engine - this range is perfect to build further on this evolution: improved efficiency, improved beam angles and the possibility to combine all versions as they use uniform LED engines. The iMax II range combines premium LED engines with precise optics, delivering high performance, maximum efficacy and high quality illumination. iMax II is using lenses out of plexiglass HW55, a material able to withstand high temperatures and allowing lumen packages up to 2000lm. Next to the high output, the lenses allow for a perfect control of the beam angle and a high uniformity on the light emitting surface, which results in reduced glare. Furthermore, if a different beam angle is required, the lenses can easily be interchanged. The round versions with trim within the range are available with a clear glass, offering IP54. This enables you to continue the Soft Ceiling minimalism and uniformity throughout bathrooms, wellness areas and other indoor damp locations. The Soft Ceiling concept focuses on minimal appearance, giving focus to the light instead of the fixture. As such, the collection fuses Delta Light’s aspirations for design sophistication and attention to detail, with precise engineering and premium materials, resulting in minimal fixtures with maximum impact. The interchangeable tubes and colour finishes allow you to apply luminaires that disappear into the background.
