Toonzaal LVD (BE)

LVD is named after its founding fathers, Jacques Lefebvre, Marc Vanneste and Robert Dewulf. Established in the 1950s, LVD gained recognition as a precision press brake manufacturer. Significant growth in the 1990s, which included the acquisition of Strippit, Inc. in 1998, a U.S. based manufacturer of turret punch press equipment and the addition of laser cutting products to its portfolio helped position the company as a leader in laser, punching and bending technology.

In March of 2017, LVD Company nv announced the opening of its new Experience Center (XP Center) at the company’s corporate headquarters in Gullegem, Belgium. Designed by the Belgian architectural firm Naert bvba in partnership with interior architect Justine Van Strydonck, LVD’s XP Center makes the most of natural light through an abundance of windows and glass doors, welcoming guests with its light and space. “The design was driven by LVD’s vision of an open, collaborative environment that is a place where visitors can learn, share, grow and innovate,” said Wouter Naert.

“Every design detail was influenced by the desire to create a valuable experience for the guest,” added Justine Van Strydonck. “From the open spaces, product areas and décor to the lighting and seating style, we considered the visitors’ perspective in the framework of the LVD brand that is centered on innovation and customer relationships.”

Throughout the Experience Center, a combination of Super Oh SBL and Super Oh XS was used, while they’ve opted for functional lighting in the meeting rooms with our Streamliner profiles.
