Thorpe Manor (GB)

Thorpe Mandeville Manor is a Grade II listed Georgian home located on the outskirts of Banbury, in the Oxfordshire countryside.
Dating back to the mid-1600s, the manor was inherited by its current owner in 2013. While the owner inherited what was undoubtedly a charming building, it needed urgent repair and restoration work.
The renovation work encompassed a breadth of upgrades and structural improvements, including a complete overhaul of the heating system, as well as the introduction of a cinema, a billiards room, a gym and a bar. Each one of the 99 windows have been removed and fully restored. Inside the house, oak panelling, wooden floors, limestone floors and listed features have been given specialist attention.
As part of the extensive regeneration programme Thorpe Manor needed a new lighting design scheme. Fixtures were selected to blend effortlessly into the country-classic look and feel of the manor, allowing for a seamless integration of light into a traditional property.
With its renovation works now complete, Thorpe Manor is available for weddings, exclusive-use homestays, and parties.
