Discover our new range of fixtures named Nebbia at Design Variations 2024

Launching Nebbia, a collaboration with Park Associati, in Milan, the city that inspired its creation, feels particularly appropriate. Inspired by the foggy atmosphere of Milan, Nebbia introduces a captivating collection of light fixtures. With its rounded geometric shapes, tactile glass cover and thoughtful colour palette, Nebbia represents a collaborative effort that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal.

The new venue for Design Variations is a garage in Milan's historic Darsena district, a project initiated by Marco Zanuso in 1938 and completed in the late 1940s. This building, a symbol of modern Milan, is characterised by functionalist architecture with large square windows, winding ramps connecting the levels and large spaces.

For Milan Design Week 2024, MoscaPartners selected Park Associati to create an innovative and environmentally friendly exhibition design. Focusing on a smart reuse of building materials, the project is characterised by the articulation of spaces through dry-laid hemp-cement bricks, resulting in a modular arrangement of the large 3,000 square metre indoor space. This design not only enhances the architectural space it occupies by creating fluid and flexible areas, but also establishes a strong, cohesive identity for the Design Variations exhibition.

Deltalight equipped the lounge and conversation area with Nebbia luminaires. Also included here is an 'exploded view' of Nebbia, highlighting its circular design. This demonstrates the purpose of the design: to make disassembly easy, making Nebbia not only visually attractive but also functionally efficient.

We invite you to visit Design Variations and discover Nebbia.

Design Variations is just a 15 minute walk from the Duomo and a 5 minute walk from Porta Genova train station.

3. Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Milano

Deltalight lights up Galleria d'Arte Moderna

The Galleria d’Arte Moderna, GAM, is one of the most appealing art galleries in Milan. It is located in Villa Reale, a magnificent palazzo where Napoleon once resided. The gallery displays works by Lombard and other Italian painters, including Modigliani, Boccioni and Previati, as well as non-Italian modernists such as Gauguin, Cézanne, Picasso, Van Gogh and Manet. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Marie Claire Maison presents " La Casa dell'Architetto" a curatorial project by Francesco Rota that takes place at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna.

Deltalight illuminates the outdoor façade with Oono, Logic Linear, and Frax luminaires, highlighting the neoclassical elegance of this remarkable building. The Spy 66 is installed above the staircase, a perfect choice for emphasising the staircase's detailed craftsmanship, offering a warm, inviting light that leads visitors to the gallery spaces.

Galleria d'Arte Moderna is situated a short 20-minute walk away from the Duomo.
